Bird Control

Birds are wonderful creatures, but they can sometimes become serious pests. The roof void of your home is a perfect and safe place for birds to build their nests, and it is not just the noise of the birds or their droppings that is the most concern. Birds nesting in roof voids can cause a bird mite (or bird lice as they are sometimes called) infestation in your home. Bird Mites are so small they may be invisible to many people. This is by far the most common invisible biter. After the birds leave the nest the mites and lice migrate from the nest looking for food. This may be you. Treatment of bird mites includes the removing the vacant nests from the roof void and the judicious application of a chemical spray to the affected area. Once the roof has been treated the entry point will be blocked off with wire to ensure that re-entry does not occur.
